So I kept wondering, are other people as addicted as I feel I am?

Even if my "addiction" is rather tame, as I don't even use tiktok, instagram, twitter, not even youtube for the most part.

But I definitely see this "reward" that you find when you just watch/see/read something even if you have seen it several times before.

I actually feel a similar way about sugar.
